Privacy Policy — HZQ Video Player
This Privacy Policy explains how HZQ Video Player handles information in its Google Play-distributed Android application.
1. Local video playback
HZQ Video Player is a local, offline video player and file-management application. The app accesses videos and file information on your device only to display your library, play media, show file details, and perform file operations you request. The Google Play version does not upload your video files, filenames, or playback history to HYZoraX servers.
2. Information we collect
The Google Play version does not require registration or an account. It does not contain advertising or analytics/tracking SDKs and does not collect or sell personal information through an app-operated online service.
The app may save playback positions, recently played items, file references, and preferences locally on your device to provide its functions. These are not sent to our servers by the Google Play version.
3. Permissions and device files
Depending on your Android version and the features you use, the app may request access to videos and selected media. It may also offer optional Android file-management access (including All files access on supported devices) so you can copy, move, rename, delete files, and create folders. You choose whether to grant these permissions through Android. You can change or revoke them in your device settings.
Actions such as deleting, renaming, or moving a file change the file on your device at your request. Android may restrict access to protected system or application folders.
4. Sharing and third parties
When you explicitly choose the Android Share action, the file or information you select may be passed to the destination app you choose. That destination app's privacy practices apply to what you share with it. Google Play and Android may separately process platform-level information under Google's own privacy policies.
5. Storage, retention, and deletion
App preferences and playback history are stored locally and generally remain until you clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Files you manage in shared device storage may remain on the device after uninstalling the app. If Android device backup is enabled, some application data may also be handled by Android's backup service according to your device and Google account settings.
6. Security
We limit the Google Play app's functions to local media and file management. The app does not need an internet connection for playback. No software can guarantee absolute security, and access to local device files remains subject to Android's permission system.
7. Children
HZQ Video Player is a general-purpose media utility, not designed specifically for children. The Google Play version does not knowingly collect children's personal information through an app-operated online service.
8. Updates to this policy
If the app's data practices change, we will update this page and revise the date above. Any new features that affect privacy will be disclosed as appropriate.
